ERNA DUECK

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Erna Dueck at her residence in Steinbach, MB on November 1, 2011 at the age of 85 years old.
 
Erna was predeceased by her husband William K. Dueck, as well as her son Allan and daughter-in-law Linda. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Delores and Perry Moldowan, daughter-in-law Shirley, sons Leo and Pam, Dennis and Marlene, Gordon and Reg and Debbie, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn her passing, are two brothers and five sisters.
 
Viewing at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Monday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Interment at the Kleefeld EMC Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fabien Laurencelle on November 1, 2011 at the St. Anne Hospital.

He was born June 22, 1934 and lived in La Broquerie all his life. He is survived by his loving wife Thérèse (Prairie), his children Nathalie, Patrick and one grandchild Mikayla; his brothers and sisters, Louis (Gisèle), Fernand (Lina), Eva (Marc), Alfred (Yvonne), Adrien, Victor (Carol), Hermance (Gordon), Marcien (Fleurette), Marie (Daniel), Lucille (Ron), and sister-in-law Jocelynne (Bob); also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and the Prairie family. Fabien was predeceased by his parents Louis and Georgeline (Laramée), brothers, Pierre, Roland, brother and sisters-in-law, Lorraine Laurencelle, Antoine Audette, Yolande Laurencelle, Rolande Prairie and his mother-in-law Hermance Prairie.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church in La Broquerie.

JACOB J. THIESSEN
(Feb.28, 1924 - Nov. 5, 2011)
 
Peacefully, with family at his side, Jacob J Thiessen went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2011. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Sarah, his sons Don (Wendy), Dennis (Emily), and daughter Eleanor (Cliff), as well as his grandchildren, Nicolas (Charlotte, Benjamin, Malachi, Judah), Thomas (Ashley, Quintin), Stewart (Chrissy), Kristen, Curtis, and Andrew. He was predeceased by his son Gerald (2007), one great granddaughter, Addison (2009), and two sisters Anne and Sally.

Peacefully on the morning of Saturday, November 5, 2011 Eugene Reimer, 62, passed away at Jocelyn House, in Winnipeg. For the last year he lived courageously with lung cancer.

He was predeceased by his mother Betty. He will be remembered by his father Peter K. Reimer and his sister Iris Reimer, as well as many friends.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden tragic passing of Susie Reinke on November 11, 2011.
 
Born in Neuendorf, Russia on December 27, 1920 she along with her parents, four brothers and four sisters immigrated to Canada in November 1923.  She married Frank Reinke, the love of her life, on April 10, 1939.
 
She was predeceased by her husband Frank on May 1, 1998. She leaves to mourn her passing: Richard and Marline, Jim and Eileen, Victor, Frances and John Voth, six grandchildren, and thee great grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Mary and husband Ben, sisters-in-law Agnes, Ann, Isabel and brother-in-law Mervin, numerous nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Sadly, we announce the passing of Alphonse Boily at the Villa Youville on November 12, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Liliane and his children: Carmelle (Philippe), Gérald, Pierrette (Janine), Carole (Karen), Lynne and Bertrand. His eight grandchildren: Pierric, Josée-Anne, Chloé (Brad), Matthieu, Hugo, Alana, Simon, Julien and great-grandson, Dominic. He also leaves to mourn, his brothers Wilfrid (Jessie), Georges (Béatrice), Marcien (Denise) and his sister Jeannette (Euclide) and his sisters-in-law:  Fabiana Boily, Lucile Freynet, Yolande Freynet and his brother-in-law, Joseph Cinq-Mars. 1931-2011

After a very courageous battle with cancer and his family by his side, Paul passed away November 14 at the Bethesda Hospital. Paul is survived by his wife Joyce of 56 years, children Peter (Marcia), Carol (Rick), Tony (Chris) and his granddaughters Tessa and Sierra. He was predeceased by his father Peter and his mother Anna, sisters Mary and Sally, brother Johnny and his granddaughter Jessica.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18 at 2pm at the Zion Lutheran Church, Fredensthal, MB. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Overstone Cemetery.

Maurice Vernon Condon passed away peacefully Wednesday Nov 16th, 2011 at the Repo Joly St. Pierre, MB at the age of 99.

Maurice was predeceased by his wife Mary (nee-Wallace) in 2010.

Eileen Rose Becker, 68, was called home on November 16, 2011, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on January 20, 1943 in Steinbach, Manitoba to David F. and Katherine Giesbrecht. She married Wilbert D. Becker in 1965 and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota until 2009. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wilbert, their children David Becker of Seattle WA and Deborah (Loren) Haarsma of Grand Rapids MI, and her sister, Dolores (Helmut) Pankratz of Steinbach Manitoba.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Tillie Yanisiw, after a sudden stroke at the age of 91 on November 16, 2011. Tillie was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2005. Tillie will be lovingly remembered by her children Joe Yanisiw, Mary (Ted)Edwards , Lillian Kuchar, Shirley Yaroshinski, Diana Yanisiw, William (Barb) Yanisiw, Elaine (Brian) Hoover, Sharon (Fern) Laurin, 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, who was born on her husband's 90th birthday.

Wasylyna (Bella) Koshelanyk of Toronto, Ontario peacefully passed away on Thursday November 17, 2011 - 8:00pm at Humber River Regional Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.

Born in Caliento, Manitoba on November 28, 1929 to Bill and Ann Maxymowich, Bella married husband Joseph on November 8, 1947. They moved to Toronto in 1966 where she worked as a machinist for a paper company until 1971 when she left to become a housewife and mother.

MARIE PREVOST
1927 - 2011

Peacefully, on Friday, November 18h, at the age of 84, Mom left her home on earth to be reunited with loved ones who went before her, to live life in full with her Father in Heaven.

Born to August and Rose De Lima Beau dry in August of 1927, mom had 9 brothers and 12 sisters. She grew up and lived most of her life on the farm in South Junction, Manitoba. It was there in 1948 she fell in love with and married Philip Prevost. They together loving raised 10 children Doris, Norbert (Julaine), Raymond  (Lynn), Jocelyne (Guy), Normand (Cecile), Leon (Kathy), Sally (Jeff), John (Margie), Victor (Shawny), William (Bonnie), who in turn presented them with many grandchildren  and great grandchildren.

As an expression of sympathy, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Mom’s  memory to the Palliative Care Program in Vita,  Manitoba.

Florence Emily Mac Donald (nee Marchant), beloved wife of the late Hugh Allan Mac Donald, passed away peacefully on November  22, 2011 at the age of 98 years, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

On November 25th, 2011, after a short illness, Camille Chaput of Sainte-Anne passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital in the presence of hisfamily. He was 90 years old. Mary Fast, 101, of Steinbach passed away at the Rest Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

She is survived by one son and his family, two sisters, two brothers.  She was predeceased by her husbands David Penner and John D. Fast.

The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church Cemetery.
