Asylum seekers cross border Saturday night

It was another busy night in Emerson.

Manitoba RCMP report that 22 people were found to be crossing the border illegally overnight on Saturday.

All were taken to the Canadian Border Services Agency port at Emerson.

Dozens of people have crossed from the United States into Canada in recent weeks.
