Mischief makers target signs, mailboxes

Steinbach RCMP received several complaints in both the RM of Ste Anne and RM of Hanover about civic signs, highway signs and mailboxes being damaged or removed sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Steinbach RCMP Staff Sgt. Harold Laninga encouraged members of the public to review any surveillance video they may have and contact police with any tips. He said the vandalism may be linked to other acts of vandalism in Steinbach and La Broquerie on the weekend.
