Bethesda opens new ER department

It has been a long time coming but the new Emergency Department is finally open at Bethesda Regional Centre in Steinbach.

Signs were in the process of being changed this morning, directing emergency traffic away from the temporary entrance on Reimer Avenue to the new entrance on Henry Street, which is in a similar spot to the old entrance.

The official changeover took place this morning at 8 a.m.
