The cash has been counted and numbers are looking good. A book sale last week in Steinbach proved profitable as $10,200 was raised by the Bethesda Healthcare Auxiliary.

Those funds will be added to the $17,100 that came in during the larger spring sale and be used to pay for a special room designed for families going through the palliative care.

The Chrysalis Room was a special request made by staff at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach. It will provide privacy for families during a difficult time.
