The signalized crosswalk at the corner of McKenzie Avenue and Cedar Crescent in Steinbach is supposed to make the intersection pedestrian-friendly.

On Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m., that intersection wasn’t so kind to the driver of one vehicle.

The driver did not notice that the green car travelling ahead of it, eastbound on McKenzie Avenue, came to a stop as a pedestrian attempted to cross the street. As a result, the grey car bumped into the vehicle ahead of it, according to early reports Steinbach RCMP say.
