Concert supports SAC fundraising efforts

The Steinbach Arts Council will look to fill the seats of the SRSS theatre on Thursday, Oct. 6 as Rosemary Siemens and Jayme Giesbrecht entertain at a CD release party.
An accomplished violinist, Siemens will be launching her debut bluegrass album, Plum Coulee, My Town, a new collection inspired by her hometown.
Soloist Jayme Giesbrecht, will also present from her debut album, To Keep You From Falling, a mix of styles including soul, blues, and southern gospel.
Funds raised will assist the arts council in purchasing a grand piano.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25, $20 for SAC season ticket subscribers and $10 for students.
