Crash closes highway near La Broquerie

A serious crash on Saturday night closed Provincial Road 302 just outside of La Broquerie.
RCMP on the scene confirmed the incident was a two-vehicle collision reported around 8 p.m.
Police said no further details could be released about the incident, which is under investigation.
La Broquerie and Richer fire department members, paramedics and the STARS air ambulance also responded to the call.
A RCMP traffic analyst was expected to be on site later in the evening. The highway was reopened early Sunday morning.
A spokesperson for STARS said on Sunday that one of five patients at the scene was transported by the air ambulance service to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
