A Steinbach man is facing multiple charges after an incident Sunday.
St Pierre RCMP stopped a vehicle in the Ile des Chenes area around 4 p.m.
The vehicle was seized along with an undisclosed amount of marijuana and methamphetamines, as well as a prohibited weapon.
Eric Schinkel, 27, of Steinbach is facing eight charges under the controlled drugs and substances act and the criminal code. He was scheduled to make his first appearance in Winnipeg court today.
