Even as he approaches the end of six terms on the Hanover School Board, trustee Ron Falk is not ready to call it quits. Since being first elected in 1992, Falk has served in many capacities and he looks forward to representing Steinbach and the whole division for another four years. Falk has chaired the finance committee and the committees for Steinbach’s middle school and high school.

The Clearspring Middle School is listed as one of Falk’s highlights during the past term as well as the upcoming opening of the SRSS expansion.

“A tremendous amount of planning went into these facilities with involvement from trustees, administration, staff and students,” said Falk. “To see these projects come to completion is very gratifying.”

Falk feels the region is lucky to have such growth as many other school divisions are seeing declined enrollment. Student numbers have grown leaps and bounds in the past decade with no signs of this trend coming to an end. Kindergarten numbers continue to exceed the numbers of students graduating from the region.

“It has been a tremendous privilege to represent Steinbach on the Hanover School Board. I thoroughly enjoy being involved in our education system. If elected, I will commit to continue to hardworking dedicated leadership, pursuit of fiscal responsibility and the pursuit of excellence in our division.”
