The Town of Ste Anne’s new chief administrative officer is a familiar face.

Genevieve Gingras, who has been the town’s assistant CAO since April 2015, began her new position as CAO on Jan. 24.

“It’s a really great opportunity. I have big shoes to fill. There is still a lot to learn, but it’s a great opportunity to be able to work for the town residents and for the council,” she said Gingras.

“I have great support all around me. So far, it’s been a great journey.”

Gingras has been acting CAO since Nicole Champagne retired in September.

“In my opinion, a CAO’s strength of character is to use all possible resources to set employees to succeed and promote growth with creativity and lead council to the utmost performance,” said Gingras. “All together, it’s using integrity in all aspects of the job.”
