Swastikas, vulgar imagery and profanity were spray painted onto a range of homes, garage doors and vehicles in Steinbach and Mitchell sometime Saturday night.

Steinbach RCMP, in a media release Sunday afternoon, asked citizens to inform police if they recognize anyone with fresh paint on their clothing or hands.

Police also requested that individuals and businesses with security cameras review footage between Saturday at 11 p.m. to Sunday at 8 a.m. and contact them if suspicious activity is recognized. A vehicle that could have been involved in the graffiti spree is a blue four-door 2008 Honda Civic, with Manitoba license plate HBZ 415.
