Hall gallery showcases local art

The paintings of artists Clint Toews and Val Stanger will be on display beginning next Wednesday, Sept. 2, as the Steinbach Arts Council presents the opening of “Peaceful Places & Flight of the Dragonfly.”
The opening ceremony for the latest addition of the arts council’s hall gallery series will be held starting at 7 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend the opening ceremony. Refreshments will be served. A toonie donation is requested and greatly appreciated.
The exhibit runs from Sept. 2 to Sept. 28.
