Hurt motorcyclist airlifted from Grunthal

A motocross rider was rushed to hospital Saturday following a crash at the GMX track in Grunthal.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the motocross track before 2:30 p.m. The male rider was transported to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

The 18-year-old motorcyclist reportedly suffered a broken femur, explained a rider.

Saturday was a practice day at the Manitoba Motocross Association track. There were medics on site.
