Lorette man dies after snowmobile crash

A 34-year-old Lorette resident has died in hospital after an accident early Sunday morning.

The man was injured when the snowmobile he was driving hit an embankment in the RM of Springfield.

Oakbank RCMP and emergency crews responded to the accident, on Pineridge Road, at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

RCMP said alcohol is considered a factor in the crash.

The man’s name was not released.
