According to police, one of the suspects fired a gun during an altercation with a resident of the apartment. No one was injured and both suspects ran off. The incident was targeted, police believe.

Gagnon, who has ties to Ste Anne and Winnipeg areas, is considered armed and dangerous. Police ask the public to not apprehend Gagnon themselves but contact the police if they have any information on his whereabouts.

Gagnon has been charged with numerous firearms and violence-related offences.
