Four men were arrested on Saturday morning after Steinbach RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Brighton Lane near Clearspring Middle School.

Police said a search of the vehicle found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, numerous weapons, Canadian currency and evidence of meth trafficking.

Tyler Myska, 23, and Jordan Friesen, 20, were taken into custody for possessing meth for the purpose of trafficking as well as for weapons and breach of conditions charges. Both are Steinbach residents. Friesen was charged for meth trafficking in another incident this past July. The pair were expected to make their first court appearance today.

The two other men, a 21-year-old Steinbach resident and a 27-year-old Oakbank resident, were released on promises to appear in court on Dec. 3. Both face charges of meth possession. The 21-year-old also faces a weapons possession charge.
