Morris bridge again shut down

The main thoroughfare connecting Morris to the east has once again been closed.
The next step in the province’s $30-million rehabilitation project for the Red River Bridge began at 6 a.m. this morning with shutting down all traffic in either direction.
The two-way highway will remain shut down until Dec. 1 as more road work continues.
Improvements to the bridge deck on PTH 23 resulted in the bridge’s closure from June 23 to Aug. 25. It was reopened for about a month until it was re-closed today.
Notable detour routes across the Red River will be through Aubigny or south on PR 210, near Letellier.
The road renewal project will continue until September 2015.
