Three residents are running in the upcoming Niverville byelection.

The nominations, which closed Tuesday, were confirmed Wednesday afternoon after the 24-hour period to rescind nominations had passed.

A familiar name on the ballot is John Falk, whose resignation from council prompted the byelection. Falk resigned from council in February to run provincially as the Liberal Party candidate for Morris.

Newcomers Nathan Dueck and Louise Billows are also on the ballot.

The Niverville byelection is Sept. 14.
