One person is dead after a two-vehicle collision along Provincial Road 311 on Wednesday night about one mile east of the Highway 12 intersection.

Steinbach assistant deputy fire chief Mike Penner told The Carillon it appears that both vehicles involved, a red pick-up truck and a smaller model Honda, were both travelling on the Provincial Road when the collision occurred.

“One must have crossed over and came into impact with the other vehicle,” Penner said.
