A 29-year-old Ontario man was transported to Winnipeg hospital by STARS in serious condition after his vehicle rolled while driving in the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred about two and a half kilometres west of Highway 12 at about 3:15 p.m.

Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision. It appears the driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
