Two local residents appeared in Winnipeg court today to face methamptheamine trafficking charges after being arrested by Steinbach RCMP on Saturday.
Kelly Reimer, 23, of Steinbach and Timothy Jacques, 33, of Blumenort were taken into custody by police after a traffic stop on Barkman Avenue. Police said in a release that they found several weapons as well as methamptheamine inside the vehicle.
Police noted it is third time since January that Reimer has been charged with meth trafficking.
