Thousands blanketed Steinbach sidewalks to watch the annual Pioneer Days parade roll through Main Street Friday morning under sunny skies.

A total of 140 parade entrants set off westward from the city’s fire hall and ending at Stone Bridge Crossing for a parade that lasted approximately 80 minutes.

The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce, which organized the event, estimate between 8,000 to 10,000 people took in the parade.
