Pre-budget consultation meeting tomorrow

Manitobans are being invited to share their views about what they want to see in the next provincial budget at community meetings throughout the province and online.
A public consultation will be held Sunday in Ile des Chenes from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the TransCanada Centre.
Anyone unable to attend a meeting can make a submission in writing to the minister by emailingminfin@leg.gov.mb.ca or by mail c/o Budget Consultations, Room 103, Legislative Building, 450 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0V8.
A telephone town hall will be held for urban residents on Thursday, Oct. 22 and for rural residents on Friday, Oct. 23 between 7 and 8 p.m. Registration deadlines are Oct. 19 for the urban town hall and Oct. 20 for the rural town hall, and those planning to attend are asked to register at: www.gov.mb.ca/finance/consult/intro.html.
