RCMP bust cocaine trafficking operation

A two-month cocaine trafficking investigation led by Steinbach RCMP resulted in one man’s arrest and the confiscation of more than $5,000 worth of illicit drugs.

Police report their General Investigative Section arrested Glen Neiman, 56, of Arnaud on Friday due to an investigation they titled Project Defog.

RCMP seized $5,600 of powder and crack cocaine packaged for street distribution, one ounce of hash and a small amount of marihuana.

Neiman was charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possessing hash and marijuana. He remains in custody in Winnipeg as he awaits further court appearances.
