Rush hour crash at worrisome corner

The troublesome intersection of Highway 52 and Industrial Road in Steinbach has been the site of three motor vehicle collisions in the past 12 days.
On Tuesday afternoon shortly after 4:15 p.m., it appears a car proceeding southbound on Industrial Road trying to cross Highway 52 struck a vehicle heading westbound, according to Steinbach RCMP Sgt. Joanne Ryll.
She said police are continuing to investigate the crash that occurred on the city’s western edge.
Neither driver was seriously hurt.
The other two known vehicle collisions this month at the intersection happened last Tuesday morning and on Friday, Sept. 5.
