Two Ste Agathe residents face numerous charges after St Pierre RCMP led a search of a residence in the community on Friday.

RCMP said two vehicles, several prohibited weapons and eight firearms were seized, which included high-power rifles, handguns, an assault rifle and a sawed-off shotgun. Cocaine and marijuana were also seized, along with drug paraphernalia.

Adrian Meaney, 26, and Haley Marsch, 23, both of Ste Agathe, are facing 25 charges. A third adult female who was arrested as a result of the search warrant was released without charge.

Meaney and Marsch made their first court appearance on Monday.
