Motorcyclist dies following collision

A 25-year-old Steinbach man is dead after a collision on Provincial Road 305 between a motorcycle and semi truck on Monday afternoon.
Around 2:40 p.m. emergency crews responded to a report of the crash east of Ste Agathe.
Police said preliminary investigation shows the semi was travelling northbound on Crystal Springs Road when it attempted to turn west onto Provincial Road 305 and was struck by an eastbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to hospital but, police said, succumbed to his extensive injuries.
An investigation into the accident continues.
