Suspects sought in thefts

Steinbach RCMP are looking for tips regarding a theft from the 7-11 convenience store in Steinbach last month. RCMP say the suspect stole $76 worth of merchandise. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person an the image taken from a security camera on Sept. 15.

“When an item is stolen, the store’s costs rise, thereby causing prices to rise, affecting each and every one of us,” said Staff Sergeant Harold Laninga.

Police are also looking for the public’s assistance to locate a vehicle stolen on Oct. 17. A blue 1987 Chevrolet short box truck was taken from a yard in the RM of La Broquerie.
