Sprague RCMP are investigating two break and enters and thefts that occurred in the Woodridge area. Both incidents are believed to have occurred between July 2 and July 4, 2014.

A power generator and miscellaneous tools totaling over $11, 000 were stolen from the first break and enter.

Four ATVs were stolen from a shed (a red 2006 Honda TRX 90, two red 2009 Honda TRX250, and a 2010 Honda TRX 500 camouflage) and a Honda EU3000 power generator. Miscellaneous power tools were taken as well. The tools, generator and ATVs are valued at over $70,000.

Police are asking the public for assistance in locating the missing items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sprague RCMP at (204) 437-2041 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).

Steinbach RCMP are also investigating a theft from Girouxsalem Golf Course. A Honda gas pump, Husqvarna chain saw, and Husqvarna grass trimmer have been stolen from the property. The theft occurred sometime in the last two weeks.

There was also a report of damage to the swimming pool at Southland Estates on Chapel Drive. Police believe this incident took place in the early morning hours of Aug. 29.
