One hurt in Richer-area crash

A single vehicle rollover on the Trans-Canada Highway closed the eastbound lanes of the highway for part of Sunday evening.

The accident occurred east of Richer. Eastbound traffic was diverted south on Thurston Road and then along Dawson Road for about four miles.

RCMP Cst. Richard Belliveau said there were three occupants in the vehicle. Belliveau said one of the individuals suffered injuries in the incident. He said, at this point, he could not confirm the extent of the person’s injuries.

The highway has since reopened to traffic.
