Manitoba’s professional Baroque choir, accompanied by musicians from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, together with the Southeast’s finest choristers and rehearsed under the direction of Ed and Millie Hildebrand will perform this Sunday in Steinbach.

Canzona is a choral ensemble of two dozen voices and consists of many of the leading singers in the province under the artistic direction of Dr Elroy Friesen.

The group focuses on the masterworks and recently re-discovered works of the Baroque in its live performances and is also active in preparations of select recordings featuring contemporary music, German hymns, and other compositions and collaborations.
