enVision employees who unionized last March have agreed to their first contract with the organization.

The 51 employees work primarily as support workers, sorters and truck drivers at Kindale Industries and Eastman Recycling Services. They are members of Education, Service, and Health Care Union, Local 306, affiliated with the Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC).

In a release the union said that contract highlights include job security, expanded benefits and retirement to more workers, and wage increases.
