Jesse Pelletier scored two goals, including the winner just 43 seconds into overtime, to propel the Ste Anne Aces to a 4-3 victory over the Grunthal Red Wings Tuesday night at Ste Anne, completing the four game sweep over the Red Wings in the Carillon Senior Hockey League semi-finals.

Jeff Penner forced overtime for the Red Wings as he scored the tying goal with just over three minutes remaining in regulation. This game was tied 1-1 after the first and 2-2 after the second as three times the Aces scored first only to see the Red Wings tie it in the closest game of the series.

Colin Lafreniere and Brennan Ritchie also scored for the Aces, with three of their goals set up by Steph Pattyn. Jayden Plett and Dylan Reimer rounded out the Grunthal scoring.

The defending champion Aces now await the winner of the Springfield vs. Red River series, currently tied 2-2. Game five in that series will be played tonight at 8:00 p.m. at St. Jean and then back to Oakbank for game six Friday at 8:00 p.m. Should game seven be required, it would be played Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Jean.
