After getting blown out 8-3 and 6-0 in the first two games of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League finals at OCN, the two-time defending champion Portage Terriers have stormed back to win three straight and are just a win away from yet another league title.

Portage bounced back to win games three and four in Portage by scores of 3-2 and 4-3 in overtime.

The Terriers took a 3-2 lead in the series with a 3-1 triumph Sunday night at OCN.

Portage can wrap up the series with a win at home in game six Wednesday night. Should the Blizzard extend the series, the seventh and deciding game would be played Saturday night at OCN.

The Terriers, fifth place finishers in the MJHL  this season, knocked off the pennant-winning Steinbach Pistons in the semi-finals, the third straight year the Terriers have beaten the Pistons in the post-season after defeating them in the finals the previous two years. OCN finished third in the regular season standings this year.

The winner will represent the MJHL at the Crescent Point Western Canada Cup the first weekend of May at Penticton, B.C.
