The Steinbach Arts Council is pleased to announce that your favourite FREE outdoor concert series is back this summer. K.R. Barkman Concerts in the Park are for the whole family, featuring local performers across a variety of genres – classical, pop, folk, acapella, rock, and more!
Everyone is encouraged to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to the K.R. Barkman Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays through to June 13 at 6:30 p.m. To find K.R. Barkman Park, head southeast down Main Street, just past the Steinbach Fire Hall, and look for the gazebo.

June 4 – Darryl Marsh Band
June 6 – Crossfire
June 11 – Louden King, Beneath the Surface
June 13 – LMNK, Kites and Lights

NEW! Tots Summer Arts Day Camp!
Our pilot project, Tots Summer Arts Day Camp at the Steinbach Arts Council, offers a variety of themed weeks designed for children aged 3-4. From exploring animals and art to diving into fairy tales and science, each week promises to deliver a fun and educational experience for our young participants.
Choose your week between July 2 and Aug. 9, and register your tots for either the A.M. or P.M. sessions. Secure your spot today at steinbacharts.ca/tots-sadc/ or call us at 204-346-1077.

Join us at the Artist Tent in Summer in the City!
Come and participate in the Artist in the City Tent at Summer in the City. From June 14 to 16, the Steinbach Arts Council will showcase the work of talented artists, demonstrate art activities, offer face painting and more for children and adults! We welcome everyone to visit and show support for our local artists. We look forward to seeing you there!
Fall classes start
Just a reminder to our participants that fall classes registration for all ages in our centre will open online and over the phone July 24, 2024. This includes registrations for our flagship programs such as:
– Steinbach Children’s Chorus & Steinbach Youth Chorus (Grades 2-4, 5-8)
– FUSION Musical Theatre (Grades 2-4, 5-8)
– Backyard Theatre Company (Ages 5-8, 9-12)
– BOSS Dance Introductory Classes (Ages 3-5, 6-9)
– ASAP After School Arts Program for Grades 5-12
