Manitoba High School Rodeo Finals
The Manitoba High School Rodeo Association finals will be hosted in Richer this year, as the best an brightest up and coming cowboys and cowgirls aim to strut their stuff.
Action will be fast and furious at Dawson Trail Park from June 7 – June 9, with no charge for admission.

Hanover Kickers/MMSL
Division four teams from Hanover and Landmark will be battling at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg June 9, after a Valour FC game.
In Division 1 action, the Hanover Kickers and Niverville Force are set to battle June 9 as well, as Niverville looks to get their home schedule underway. A scheduled June 3 game was cancelled due to waterlogged fields. The Kickers are looking for their first win of the season after getting shut out by Winnipeg FC, the top team in the division.
In other action across the MMSL the division three Hanover Sting will play in Steinbach June 10 and the division 5 Hanover United will be in action June 6.
Manitoba Junior Baseball League
The Carillon Sultans will take their 9-1 record on the road this week, playing the Interlake Blue Jays in a double-header in Stonewall.
Winnipeg Senior Baseball League
The Steinbach-based Carillon Sultans had a false start to their home opener, with a game scheduled against the West Winnipeg A’s scheduled for May 30th unable to go forward thanks to a soaked A.D. Penner Park diamond.
The new home opener for Carillon is set for June 10 when they take on Elmwood at 7 p.m.
The tier 2 Ile des Chenes-based Pembina Phillies will be playing tier 1 West Winnipeg June 12 in Ile des Chenes.
Carillon Sultans AAA

The Brandon Marlins will be in Ile des Chenes this weekend for a key double-header in the Manitoba AAA U18 league June 8 (first pitch set for 1 and 4 p.m.). Regular season seeding between rural teams matters this year, with the standings serving as qualifiers for tier 1 and tier 2 provincials. The day after taking on Brandon, the U18 team will be hosting North Winnipeg at 12 and 3 p.m.
Eastman Wildcats
The U19 Eastman Wildcats are back in action in the Southeast, playing a double-header against the Westman Magic June 6 at the Friedensfeld Community Centre. Game two will be under the lights, with first pitch set for 8:30 p.m.
The other three Eastman Wildcats teams will be in action at the Bismark Blast Tournament, which is hosted in North Dakota.
