ATV rollover injures man

A 34-year-old Winnipeg man was sent via STARS air ambulance to Winnipeg hospital with life threatening injuries on Saturday night after an ATV rollover near Richer.

Police were called to the scene, a block south of the Dawson Road and Provincial Road 302 intersection, shortly before 8:30 p.m. The man was found unconscious with extensive injuries in the ditch on the east side of the roadway.

Police said in a release on Monday afternoon that the cause of the crash remains under investigation. The release noted the man was not wearing a helmet.
