It was a team effort this week as Ste Anne Police and Steinbach RCMP joined forces to solve a theft from a construction site in Ste Anne on Monday.

RCMP said in a release on Thursday that an enclosed trailer stolen from the site and its contents, valued at around $20,000, were recovered in Blumenort.

Marc Leclerc, 28, and Stephanie Claeys, 33, both of Blumenort, have been charge with theft over $5,000 and possession over $5,000.

Leclerc, police said, has been remanded to custody.
