Dawson Trail Days arrive in the Town of Ste Anne on Friday, featuring four days of events and activities for all ages.

On Friday, festival-goers can kick off their shoes at a family sock hop with DJ Brenton at the curling club from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $3 each for ages three and over.

Saturday’s highlights include an Epic Fitness obstacle course from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a slow-pitch tournament that continues into Sunday. Saturday will also feature live music at the pavilion at the park beginning at 2 p.m.

A trade show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Kids will also have a chance to swing the bat and run the bases at the Rally Caps baseball tournament. Company 33 will host a skateboard competition at the community’s skate park. The day is capped off with a firework show at dusk.

After all those activities, attendees will no doubt be hungry for Monday’s pancake breakfast and open house at the Ste Anne Fire Hall. A parade follows at 12 p.m., and will include a children’s bicycle decorating contest.
