Hey there, time traveller!

Go-karts will be pieced together from scratch and then hit the dirt track in St Labre during the annual St Labre 200 this weekend.

Those who build go-karts on Friday had better hope they do a good job, as on Saturday those go-karts will race in a 200 lap race at the Talbot and Associates Speedway, a quarter-mile dirt track in St Labre.

All teams must be able to race their go-karts just 24 hours after first starting to build them.

Local charities will receive money raised from the event.

Admission is free. Along with the races, the event will feature live entertainment, an axe throwing competition, kid’s bouncers, chainsaw carving and a fireworks show.
