RCMP said on Wednesday afternoon that a 21-year-old female driver has died from injuries sustained in an ATV rollover near Kleefeld on Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to a report of the accident around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.

The woman was driving a side-by-side ATV in a field, south of the intersection of Road 33N and Road 27E, when the crash occurred.

A 20-year-old female passenger was uninjured.

Police said previously that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and that neither of the occupants were wearing helmets. Alcohol has also been ruled out as a factor in the crash.
