Farm injury prompts airlift

A male in his 30s was transported from Blumenort to Health Sciences Centre in serious condition Monday around 3 p.m.

A STARS air ambulance spokeperson said the man was injured by a cow at a local farm.

Southern Health paramedics, working without police or firefighter assistance, prepared a landing zone outside the new Blumenort fire station, due to open in July.
