Granny’s Poultry has received a variance from the RM of Hanover that will allow them to use security guards on their Blumenort property at all times of the day and night.
During a public hearing in Hanover on Wednesday Granny’s Poultry requested a variance that would allow it to build 10-by-12 foot security building on its property at 4 Penner Dr. in Blumenort.
A representative with Granny’s told Hanover council on Wednesday it has recently hired 24-hour on-site security to control who can and cannot enter the property, and that is why the building is needed.
Hanover council voted unanimously to approve the variance.
