The RM of Hanover says they have been forced to shut down yet another recycling depot because of misuse.

During a Hanover council meeting last Wednesday it was stated that on Sept. 4 the municipality plans to remove the current community recycling bin in Mitchell, which sits near the Mitchell Co-op gas station.

During the meeting Hanover CAO Luc Lahaie stated the municipality “repeatedly receives complaints about unsightliness and garbage that is left behind” in and around the area where the bin currently sits.

Hanover has also closed two other recycling bins in the last few months because of the same kinds of misuse issues, as the RM recently removed community bins in both Grunthal and New Bothwell.
