If you’re looking for a little bit of country music, you need to look no further than the Louisiana Hayride Show, coming to the SRSS theatre on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
For fans of Hank Williams, Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline, this show is based on a historical radio show where they and many other artists performed.
Show creators, Lori and Gil Risling, have been touring the production, now in its eighth year, across western Canada to rave reviews.
"The music in this show will bring back memories from a bygone era. This is music that resonates with audience members, said Gil, who also performs as Williams, Orbison and Willie Nelson.
Other artists presented by other cast members include
Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Shania Twain and Garth Brooks.
Interspersed throughout the show will be trivia about the artists the group portrays.
Tickets for the Steinbach show are available at the Stone Creek Western Shop.
