Motorcyclist airlifted near Sarto

Provincial Road 205 was closed Wednesday evening after a collision west of Sarto at the intersection of the highway and Road 31E.

A spokesperson for STARS, which was dispatched shortly after 6:30 p.m. to the scene, said the air ambulance crew responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a gravel truck.

The motorcycle driver, a 17-year-old male, was airlifted to Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre in stable condition.
