Olde Tyme fun returns to Niverville

Niverville will kick off the summer season this weekend when the town hosts the annual Olde Tyme Country Fair.

The event will get going Friday with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Evening attractions include a Show ‘n’ Shine car show, petting zoo, street market, food festival, and freestyle motocross show.

Friday will also see a number of musical acts hit the stage to entertain the crowd, and the evening will wrap up with a fireworks show starting at 11:15 p.m.

A full day of Saturday activities starts with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. The Niverville Credit Union barbecue will fire up at 11 a.m., one hour before the parade begins.

A Niverville version of the newlywed game is planned for 3:30 p.m., and more musical acts will play throughout the day.
