Pat Porter Centre welcomes Harder

Steinbach’s Pat Porter Active Living Centre has a new executive director.
Audrey Harder has taken the helm of the organization.
She has worked previously at enVision Community Living in Steinbach for 19 years, while raising her family.
She has also been active as a volunteer with Summer in the City, works with the Steinbach Legion, and has participated in a variety of boards and committees over the years.
In a release, the centre said Harder is looking forward to working with employees and the board to increase public knowledge, presence, and participation.
“She firmly believes that community is a place where you belong and hopes that Steinbach will be the community you want to retire in because of the opportunities at Pat Porter Active Living Centre,” the release stated.
