A 42-year-old man from the RM of Armstrong died on Tuesday night after he was struck by a vehicle near Dufresne.
Police said in a release on Wednesday afternoon that Steinbach RCMP responded around 11 p.m. to a report of the collision on Provincial Road 207.
Police said a 17-year-old male from Lorette was driving southbound on PR 207, when he collided with a pedestrian who was walking on the roadway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
